Trust Mahima to surprise you just when you think she’s been out of the news for a while.
The latest is that the Pardes girl has been roped in for a special role in B R Chopra’s Baghbaan which has such veterans as Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.
Mahima will be cast opposite Salman Khan.
When we spoke to Mahima Chaudhary, she was quite excited about the special role but declined to say much about it.
"Both Salman and I are doing special roles in the film and I just shot for it yesterday. I had a scene with Mr Bachchan. Since I’ve already worked with Abhishek Bachchan, I kept telling him that he was exactly like his son," she laughed.
"I think that’s a first for him. Everyone keeps telling Abhishek that he’s exactly like his father, but here it was the other way around!"
Mahima is convinced that whatever the length of the special role, it’s the quality that matters and not quantity.
And considering she will be cast with such well known actors, we don’t think she need worry about that. Great going, Mahima!
